Elizabeth Manning

Lead Co-Responder Liz Manning has been embedded fully with the Hummelstown Police Department since June of 2024. She can also be found with the Derry Township Police Department. In 2021, Liz worked with Hummelstown PD to implement the Co-Responder Program in this community. Originally, in April of 2020, she was embedded with the Harrisburg City Police for the inception of the Co-Responder Program in Dauphin County. In May of 2024, she graduated from Millersville University with a B.A. in Psychology. Then, in March of 2022, she graduated with distinguished honors with a M.S. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Forensic Psychology. Throughout her career, she has worked with various members, of any age, of the community living with mental health, intellectual disabilities, autism, and/or drug and alcohol needs. She has been integral in working on various Stepping Up Initiatives, including Diversion Specialists at the Booking Center, Mental Health Court, the Co-Responder Program, and Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training for law enforcement officers. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her fur baby, family, friends and church family. Her hobbies include watching hockey, reading, baking and taking road trips.
