Hummelstown Borough Police Department
The Hummelstown Borough Police Department is proud of our long heritage. We have been serving our community since 1888. The department staff consists of seven full-time, four part-time sworn officers, and one civilian support staff member. We provide police services to our community of 4,500+ people on a full-time, 24/7 basis.
In addition to providing basic law enforcement services, the department is very active in the community. We participate in National Night Out, the DARE program at the middle school, and have a School Resource Officer dedicated to the Lower Dauphin School District. We also run an award-winning Halloween safety program called the "Witch Watch" and have been benefiting the local food bank with the annual Turkey Bowl bowling tournament.
